A lovely cottage in the centre of the village, a perfect getaway

Pros: Kiln how is a cute little cottage right in the centre of the village. It has everything you need, a really good kitchen, a comfy living room and lovely bedrooms.

Cons: It was perfect.

Beautiful property in an even more beautiful location.

Pros: It was in a beautiful, perfect location. Lovely cottage, clean with really good facilities, had all we needed and a whole lot more. Key was easy to get. All instructions were easy to follow.

Lovely little escape

Pros: The location, the property itself- cosy and clean, the facilities, the sounds of nature outside and the serenity.

Cons: For me, the bed - prefer a firmer bed.

Pros: Good location with trails on the doorstep and also a pub a stones throw away

Lovely base for short winter stay, running and hiking in the hills. Even had more dry days than not!

Pros: Comfy, well-equipped, clean cottage in good location for the hills. Quiet.

Cons: Simple things like no washing-up sponge/scourer/brush. Wasn't a bath mat and spare bin bag would be useful.

Pros: Fantastic location, comfortable bedrooms and great place for local walks

Cons: Difficult cooking in the kitchen as appliances need a bit of an update. Oven wasn’t working

Lakes break

Pros: Close to 2 pubs for decent drinks and food,straight through door nice walk for dog and blencathra mountain on doorstep. Inside was clean and had everything in for a 4 night stay.

Cons: Not a complaint but bed not to our liking nothing else to not like

Perfect cottage for a break away in a fantastic location.

Pros: Perfect location walked up Blencathra from the property, great pub and food practically next door, lovely stream running right past the door, toasty and warm on a cold weekend.

Cons: The memory foam mattress was a bit uncomfortable humped in the middle.
