Pros: The house had everything that we could have wanted. We were a group of 11 so it was full witj us all but it coped well.

Cons: Another bathroom would have helped but that's because there were 11 of us so not the owners or properties fault.

Stayed in many properties in Kirkcudbright over the years this is the one I felt most comfortable in

Pros: Had a really great stay here. The property was spotless, well laid out, and felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. The location was ideal — convenient without being noisy — and the bed was genuinely comfortable, which made a big difference. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and everything worked exactly as it should. Check-in was straightforward and communication was clear and responsive throughout. Overall, it felt well looked after and thoughtfully set up rather than just functional.

Pros: Beautifully finished house, and perfect for a family getaway, especially the upstairs bit the kids could safely stay in. All the bedrooms were comfortable and a joy to be in. Great location and friendly hosts too. The thoughtful little extras like the video console, books the kids could read, and the big TV meant we enjoyed being together in the house even when it was blowing a gale outside, and the house is big enough that we didn't even feel on top of each other. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: Only having one shelf in the oven made cooking for 8 a bit tricky, but we improvised fine. Didn't really bother us, but there was a bit of dog hair around so people with allergies might want to be careful.

Pros: Location, size of house perfect for our party size

Cons: We could have had more cutlery and some oven gloves. Apart from those 2 items everything was perfect.

Pros: Excellent facility's. Everything you could want and more.

Cons: Nothing it was absolutely perfect.

Pros: A very central location with all local facilities just a short walk away. The house was wonderful and everything we needed was provided for. Lovely also to have the use of a secure garden for children and dog.

Cons: Nothing.

Ideal for groups of friends

Pros: Lovely old house with lots of original features and modern decor. Bright, spacious and comfortable. Back garden was great for sitting and dining Al fresco.

Family friendly house in excellent location

Pros: House was spacious and in an excellent location. Kitchen was a good size and well equipped. Free teas and coffees were a bonus. Seats at table a little uncomfortable when sitting for longer periods but was a good size for everyone to sit around. The oven only had 2 shelves so a little awkward when cooking for a large number of people but we managed. Living room a good size with large sofa and large TV. Large selection of board games available to play. WIFI was good in all areas of the house. TV and Xbox with lots of games on a little landing off 2 of the bedrooms was handy. Garden was nice size, with good seating area and got the sun for a lot of the day. Most bedrooms had plenty room a couple were bit smaller and could be improved with a bit more storage. Town of Kirkcudbright was lovely, everyone we met was really friendly. We ate out a few times and was always nice. Tesco is a 2 minute walk from the house and is pretty well stocked for a small shop.
