4 bedroom townhouse Kirkcudbright

Comfy, cosy, clean cottage.

Pros: Nicely renovated, comfortable, spotlessly clean property in the heart of the gorgeous town of Kirkcudbright.

Jamie and his team were very good when we needed something. Overall a good stay

Pros: Location idea for what we were doing . Centre to the town

Cons: It only had one toilet. Information says 1.5 bathrooms. So a little misleading unfortunately.

Comfortable bedrooms in Kirkcudbright

Pros: The location is great. Very close to Tesco and a short walk to the town and harbour. Parking is on the street but we al toways managed to park close to the propery.The property was clean with comfortable beds made up with clean white bedding. There are 2 spacious double bedrooms and a single room upstairs and a room with good sized bunk beds downstairs. Great fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and cooker. The stairs are quite steep but handrails are provided on both sides of the stairs, and on the extra few steps up to each double bedroom. There are also a few steps down onto the kitchen. The host has made the best of the lounge/dining room providing a table and chairs and a large sofa (a squash for 7 adults). If everyone in your group can cope with stairs, I would recommend this property. Our host also responded quickly to a question I had.

Cons: There are a number of small points that stop me giving an even better review. For example, the kitchen needs some additional cutlery and additional pans (there are 2 large pans and 1 small pan - good enough for a simple meal for 7 adults but nothing more). The bedside lighting in the 2nd double bedroom could be improved.

This was a comfortable house in the heart of Kirkcudbright with all the amenities on our doorstep

Pros: No brekfast provided as we were self catering. We liked the location and the quietness and the spaciousness of the house

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: Great property, lots of room. Great location on the National Cycle route, fab beaches nearby AND pet friendly. Can't fault it! Had a lovely weekend away with partner and family. Would definitely book again, thanks.

Good base for activities in the area

Pros: Spacious accommodation central in the town. Friendly neighbours helpfully suggested where to store our bikes so as not in the way of residents activities bins etc.

Pros: Big spacious house in a great location. Had everything you needed and was lovely and clean. Loved the fact you could bring pets.

Cons: Didn’t have an outside space for the dogs but I knew that when I booked. Good thing is there is a big park right across the road for them.
