We had a lovely time so peaceful and relaxing

Pros: The location is stunning lovely gardens the river and the wildlife

Cons: Nothing everything was great

Pros: Fantastic big lodges. Booked two for a group of friends getting together. Lodges have all the facilities you need, clean and very spacious. We spent the most time mixing together in one lodge which was still very spacious with 9 adults all together.. We walked into the town centre on the Saturday, was a 15 minute walk and had a nosey round the shops, some pies and cakes from the local bakery and visited the local.pub for a few drinks. The weather wasn't great so limited use of outdoor space but they have seating outside with a fire and bbq facilities all provided which is fantastic. We are already thinking of our next visit in the new year as a friends get together. As a parent would also recommend for families.

Cons: No complaints

Apart from the access we had a lovely time.

Pros: Lodge was very comfortable, provided with all devices that was needed to accommodate us.

Cons: As my husband is wheelchair bound we found that the access to the lodge rather difficult.

Great holiday home, even in a storm!

Pros: The location was ideal for the town and the hosts were amazing, bringing us a cot over in the middle of a storm after a miscommunication. The lodge was warm and cosy. The hosts also thoughtfully provide some essentials like cooking oil and washing tablets in case you need them.

Pros: Quiet and peaceful setting. Within easy walking reach of Moffat and its pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Brilliant stay

Pros: We loved the cottage & everything was easy to use in the kitchen. It was very warm and cosy. The heating was easy to operate. We loved the garden & sheltered seating area. Despite the damp autumn weather we sat outside for breakfast most mornings. The bedrooms and bedding was excellent. There was a lovely welcome letter from the owners on arrival in the property.

Cons: The bathrooms were adequate but would benefit from further modernisation.

Lodge comfortable and warm, perfect for a family stay, quiet location, beautiful setting.

Pros: Perfect location for a family get together. Stayed with a baby and toddler, cot and high chair provided, beautiful and clean, gorgeous bedding and very comfortable beds, we even saw a badger

Relaxing, enjoyable, good locations

Pros: Clean, quiet and good location for Moffat Distillery and only a short drive to Grey Mares Tail, White Coomb and Devils Beef Tub for good hiking. Great hosts who send clear driving instructions and managed to accommodate us a bit earlier due to a tour we’d booked at distillery. Would highly recommend and will use again for future Borders hikes

Lovely stay in a glorious part of Scotland

Pros: Lovely Quiet location, 10 minute walk to the lovely town of Moffat, with lots of bars and cafes

Good comms from hosts, great location for a short walk to Moffett Well, or Moffat

Pros: Good communication from the hosts from start to finish. We accidently broke a glass (or at least it dropped out as soon as we opened the door) and comms from the host were excellent.

Cons: NA - Nothing I never liked about this property. TV was easy to use etc. and the oven / cooking amenities perfect for our party of 5 adults.
