Cozy 2 bedroom cottage with log burner close to Loch Ken

Pros: We spent in cottage 3 nights and loved it. Very clean, cosy. Kitchen very well equipped. Kids loved it too. We would definitely return in the summer.

Pros: my parents stayed here last weekend, they loved it so much, Debbie was so nice to them, extremely welcoming and friendly, they will definitely go back again. extremely clean, lovely views too

A night of peace and quiet with the kids

Pros: Clean, comfortable and cosy. Friendly, helpful owners.

Cons: Sad that we only booked for one night and the clouds prevented us from taking full advantage of the dark sky !

Pros: Everything is perfect! We stayed here for two nights and we missed anything. The cotage is a full equipped apartment. Very well located to visit the Galloway forest or any point in the south of Scotland

Absolutely perfect.

Pros: We loved everything about our stay here. The host was delightful, and gave us some great tips on where to eat. ( Try the Thistle Inn, we had a marvelous evening there.) The caramel slice that was left for us was divine. The bed was so comfortable that we slept late on our first morning. The whole house was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. It has a bath, which is always a bonus in my opinion. There are some adorable sheep and goats right outside the back gate waiting to talk to you. The location is fantastic, incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We had a wonderful time exploring the forest and surrounding areas. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property, and we hope we get the chance to return one day.

Clean, Cosy, & Comfortable at a Fair Price 10 out of 10.

Pros: This cottage is modern, spotless, well presented, and comfortable. It was ideal for our too short peaceful break from normal life. The farm animals can be seen from the garden and windows in the house, we both found this quite charming and entertaining, giving a unique experience to the overnight stay. The host was very welcoming too, Debbie had offered to have the log burner lit for our arrival, and the homemade caramel shortcake was tremendous as well. 👌🤣 Both myself and my girlfriend agreed that we would visit again in the future. I'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone and found its pricing very reasonable for what's on offer.

Cosy and relaxing

Pros: Debbie was an excellent host, the place was super cosy, quiet, close to nature park Galloway, Loch Ken was basically in the back garden and the animals walking in the fields behind were adorable which made us super happy to see them pass by when they were being fed.
