brilliant stay

Pros: it was a lovely caravan, we arrived early and the cleaners come quickly and did an amazing job. really happy with our stay

Stay was amazing being able to talk to host also helped loads with any anxieties.

Pros: Location was gorgeous full of wildlife and things to do. On site facilities like soft play was free which was huge bonus along with swimming other things. Host was amazing at staying in touch and helping with any queries.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like.

Pros: Great host including communication before and during our stay. Lovely site with plenty of amenities to keep all ages entertained including great water sports facilities and fishing. Would recommend to others and be happy to return in the future

Happy little getaway

Pros: I liked the location of the holiday park and that the accommodation was clean and tidy everything that was needed for our little trip was there for us. The only thing we had to bring was our own towels which we do anyway . Owner was available by email to help with anything plenty of activities for people who like the outdoors and the location next to the Dumfries and Galloway forest Main place to do shopping is in Stranraer around 30 mins drive depending on traffic plenty of shops and there is Newton Stuart if you are needing somewhere closer to pick up things

Cons: It's Scotland we have midgies bring some spays or deterrent for them

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Very well appointed accommodation. Good communication from the owner. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Cons: The WiFi wasn't available. The owner did explain the reason why and apologised for the inconvenience. Apart from that, everything was as described.

Pros: Whilst a bit tired, the caravan was reasonably well equipped, and the private host was easy to contact and helpful. It was clean upon arrival, and there was complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk to put us on for the first evening. The site staff were really friendly, the play area was great, and the pony trekking was fantastic. There were also a couple of lovely walks nearby and it was peaceful and well located for local towns, etc.

Cons: The caravan was quite tired, and the seats in the lounge were a bit uncomfortable. The site pool was quite dirty with all sorts of hair and slime floating in the water. Our caravan was sited at the back, and on two occasions due to the layout, it was really difficult to get to in the car as people parked in such a manner that they blocked the route through. The site restaurant, although plessant enough, was very overpriced.

Great family weekend

Pros: Caravan had all we needed for the weekend. Comfy beds and plenty of seating for everyone. Van was clean, and fresh linens had been provided. Decking around the van is huge, great if you want to keep kids or animals contained. The site has amazing facilities, a swimming pool, soft play and pub/restaurant on site. Horse riding, water sports and fishing all within walking distance.

Cons: Bins are quite the distance from the caravan. Saw a lot of older people having to drive over as the walk was too much for them. . Not the hosts fault, site just needs more bins.

Quality family time

Pros: Great caravan great location fantastic for all ages Excellent communication from the caravan owner will be staying again in the future

Lovely time away in a very clean accommodation perfect for our family couldn’t have asked for a better trip
