Superb House

Pros: Comfortable beds. Very clean and superb facilities with very thoughtful touches like flowers, wine and biscuits. House was equipped with everything you could think of.

Amazing property, very well looked after, our stay was very comfortable and stress free

Pros: The property was amazing, very clean and homely, we loved the decor, my youngest daughter loves bees and took lots of pictures of the bee decor, the beds were very comfortable to sleep in, and we loved the recliner chairs, we would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a relaxing peaceful holiday, the views were stunning, and local businesses were really friendly and really good food, would love to come back again sometime

A relaxing retreat in a beautiful part of the country

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Ptarmigan. The good weather helped but it was in a great location and really well equipped. The sofas were so comfortable and it was the perfect place to read and rest up. My little dog and I had a great week and enjoyed sitting in the living room looking out at the field of cows! I’d definitely be back.

Cons: The only things to mention was that I had difficulty getting information from Sykes. I couldn’t specify that I was bringing a dog for example. I got the same email ten times and then couldn’t get the number to check in. I got there in the end but it could have been more straightforward. The only other thing was that I hoovered my way out the door and lifted the rug and realised it was quite dirty underneath. Ditto the bins - I emptied them and the bin hadn’t been cleaned. Minor issues really and I would definitely still visit again.

Enjoyable stay in Garlieston.

Pros: Beautiful property, well thought out spaces, cosy and comfortable, absolutely nothing overlooked regarding guest comfort. Kitchen and dining equipment second to none, everything you’d ever need, really nice to have all the cleaning equipment available too. Loved the information folder, super helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat.
