Lovely to place to stay with family, loved it. Great location.
Pros: The property was a fantastic size for 8 of us, beds very comfortable, showers were great, the oven was amazing. Loved that it had a dishwasher. It was in a perfect location and stunning views. Great value for money.
Cons: The top floor rooms didnβt get very warm, our daughters said they were cold. The boiler went off after the electricity went off in the area on New Yearβs Day. Kieran was great and we got it working again. The doors are not great, tough to open and lock. The dining table was fragile and felt like it was going to give way. The pans, plates, glasses etc felt sticky and greasy.

Pros: Wonderful cottage for a weekend away with friends or family! Big oven and stove for cooking for many, lovely living room with access to streaming platforms. In the winter it was a little cold (only living room) but there is a fireplace so one could watch a movie cozied up with a fire.
Cons: Fireplace, location, size and big living room

We had a lovely time celebrating my dads 80th birthday and my sons 21st birthday, the property was ideal and the cleanli
Pros: The property was very rustic, full of history and in a lovely location. And loved that being an old property it had kept its charm.
Cons: The only issue was the driveway up to the property thereβs a lot of pot holes and as we landed when it was dark wasnβt expecting it to be as bad as it was.

Excellent value for money, but get what you pay for
Pros: Cannot fault the value for money with such a big property. All the beds were large and comfy, bedrooms were big, two socialising rooms so plenty of space for our lot. Several bathrooms, which is always nice and helpful. Lots of character. Got there to the heating on which was a nice touch.
Cons: It wasn't clean; there were 4 dead flies in our bathroom, one of the bedroom bedsheets were stained, and a lot of the crockery was dirty. It was not clearly explained that this is actually two accomodations in one, so it is one big house split into two with locked doors / plywood separating the connecting parts; the place is pet friendly which was lovely to be able to bring pets, but the dog we brought does not interact well with other dogs, and he could hear and smell them on the other side of the door, which became a problem and some of the party had to leave early. Also the front entrance is well lit and looks incredible to drive up, but our entrance is round the side with no light and in the dark looked like a servant's entrance in comparison to the grand front door. I think all of this is reflected in the price, and you get what you pay for

Peaceful retreat with stunning views.
Pros: The house was amazing, large rooms, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and stunning views over the estuary. So peaceful and relaxing. Off the beaten track. Kitchen was well stocked with implements. Could easily spend lots more time there.
Cons: The house could do with a bit of TLC, paint peeling off the walls and a few cracks in the plaster. Curtains need a bit of attention.
