A perfect stay in a perfect location

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful time at Roses Cottage. Rarely have I stayed in a property with such attention to every detail; Natasha really went above and beyond, so many little touches and surprises (thank you so much for the little Christmas treats), and was so lovely and communicative. The cottage itself is in a perfect location to explore the lakes, the coast, and climb Scafell Pike, and was very comfortable and peaceful; we were so sad to leave! Would definitely stay again and recommend 110%!

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage, great base due hiking Scafell and lovely to have some festive decoration for our late December stay.

Pros: Great location to explore the south West lakes. Loved the open fire. Great welcome with lots of extras - biscuits, milk, butter etc

Incredible Views in an Incredible Cottage

Pros: What an amazing cottage with views that take your breathe away. With wonderful facilities this is relaxing and a beautiful place to stay

Cons: Nothing wrong, but mind your head if 6 foot plus. Just duck

Roses Cottage 🌹 🥀

Pros: Really nice Cottage and not far from Wastdale. It has everything kitchen and nice bathroom with bath and lovely garden.

Pros: We had an amazing stay , very friendly host. It was very clean and cosy . Great location lovely pub in walking distance . Would definitely come back again and highly recommend

A lovely location in itself and a good springboard into cumbria central and none of the hassle of crowds.

Pros: Loved the view to the rear, and the personal help offered by the owners, the meal we had left for us was very nice indeed. The little garden was pretty even in winter.

Cons: Nothing tbh once we got to grips with the electric heaters it was warm, the clicking on and off annoyed me, but maybe others it wouldn’t. Shower room/toilet very cold.

Pros: The location was great for Scaffel Pike. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the host was fantastic with communication.
