Pros: Lovely little cottage in a perfect location for climbing Scarfell Pike

Cons: Only negative is that would have been nice to have an extra toilet for our group

Pros: Location for walking the lakes is amazing, the close proximity to Scafell pike is great, the local surroundings are very pleasant. The property is well maintained and has everything you need to have a wonderful time.

Perfection

Pros: Everything! It is is so clean and very modern, it is perfect for a weekend away and will be definitely looking to come back

Cons: Nothing I liked everything

Pros: We loved the location and the house was perfect for a couple of days away

Great location in a quieter area ofCumbria with great access to sea and hills

Pros: Really lovely clean and freshly decorated house in good taste. Everything is pretty new and works with a great kitchen and utility room which we used. Very pleasant small garden at the back and we love Gosforth - has enough pubs and places to eat and is well located for sea or hills. For EV drivers there is charging at the Kellbank very nearby. Thoroughly recommend Wainwright cottage and we will be back.

Cons: It's pretty well perfect so this is nitpicking. The drive is only for small cars (my son's mini just fit) but you can park on the road or on a quieter side road very nearby. A second toilet would be ideal (single bathroom is lovely though).

Lovely house in a lovely village

Pros: Lovely house with some local amenities close by such as pubs and bakery

Cons: Dishwasher had dishes in and washing machine had some underwear left in it from previous guests. Also, garden furniture was a little rusty and I couldn’t find a clothes airer to dry clothes indoors

Pros: Immaculate property, it was well maintained and had great amenities

Cons: There was a lot of fast traffic coming from Scarfell/Wastwater

Fantastic stay

Pros: A fantastic apartment that exceeded our expectations. The sofa was so comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were a great size. A great base to explore the local area. The hosts were easy to contact

Cons: The only thing I can list here is that the toilet seat is in need of a fix... it slides around erratically and looks like it will come off entirely at some point.
