Wonderful place to stay
Pros: The house is in a beautiful location. The views are gorgeous. There were extra thoughtful touches such as the milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar and even biscuits so we were able to have a hot drink as we settled in. Watching the birds at the feeder, the visiting hen and rooster who wandered by in the morning as well as the geese was fun. There are a couple of bird recognition books that helped us identify some of the birds which weren't known to us by name. There's a small dishwasher in the kitchen and a few tablets and rinse aid are provided. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook and clean up after yourself. There's a double socket in the kitchen that has two usb slots for charging mobile phones (don't forget to bring a cable). The safety features are excellent, with a first aid kit in the kitchen, emergency lights, fire extinguishers etc. The beds are so comfortable. We will definitely be back.
Cons: We found the house easily following the instructions provided after checking in online on the day of arrival. Definitely use the what3words app. There was a little bit of confusion as I hadn't realised the house was called Eildon (could be my fault for missing it in the directions given) and looked unfamiliar as the picture on the booking.com site is of the side and obviously very different to the front! However seeing the two lock boxes beside the front door assured us we were in the correct place! A very trivial thing is the lack of a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo etc as you wash. The shower itself was excellent. The only reason I haven't given 4 for the photos and information is a picture of the front would be helpful for recognition purposes and there was no mention of the dishwasher which is a real bonus in the kitchen and would be a good selling point. There's nothing negative to say, just a couple of things that may help others. This really is a perfect 5* property to stay at and we were sorry to leave.

Peaceful, Restful, Calm, and Spacious.
Pros: Liked the big comfortable beds. Liked the privacy. Liked the shower. Liked the large living room. Liked the views and walks. WiFi was good. Kitchen was large and well-equipped.
Cons: Would benefit from hooks on the back of the bathroom and bedroom doors. Would benefit from better/heavier blackout curtains in bedrooms. Kitchen would benefit from some wooden spoons and a colander/strainer. Geese & cockerels honking and crowing outside second bedroom window at 8am

Excellent Little Property
Pros: Excellent facilities, with an extremely well-equipped kitchen - far better than any other property I have stayed at on booking.com. In a lovely remote countryside location.
Cons: My only complaint is that there is only 1 shower - an en-suite to the master bedroom. Not a big issue
