Peaceful, well equipped, great location.

Pros: Beautiful property in beautiful peaceful and secluded location. Very well equipped. Had a brilliant few days unwinding and exploring the area.

Cons: Nothing to not like.

Pros: It’s very spacious in a beautiful peaceful setting. Well equipped and comfortable. Love it.

Cons: The road from Kirkcudbright to drive there. Single track with pot holes but the cottage is worth the journey!

Excellent cottage in a very good location for sightseeing around the area

Pros: Great location, very well stocked and comfortable furniture. The best value for money cottage we have stayed in.

Cons: Only fault was related just to me. I am only 4ft 8inches and there is no full length mirror or low one so had to take down the small mirror on the wall to do my makeup and hair.

We enjoyed the experience on staying on a farm as well as the high quality of the accommodation.

Pros: Beautiful spacious cottage on a farm, tastefully decorated, very well appointed. Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Amazing views. One of the best properties we have ever stayed in.

Cons: The drive from Kirkcudbright on a narrow rough road.

Calm, spacious and restful.

Pros: Lovely place, exactly what we were looking for and needed. Clean, specious, quiet. Watching sheep from the bedroom window was an added bonus.

Pros: This accommodation is a gem. It has been thoroughly thought out with everything there to make your stay very comfortable. The cottage was extremely clean. It is very peaceful and in a great location. This was our first visit to both the area and accommodation, and we will definitely be returning here. A big thank you to the hosts for a perfect break.

Comfortable fam cottage

Pros: Comfortable and spacious accommodation, on a quiet farm, 10 min drive from nearby town, so access was easy. Well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy. Key in the door on arrival.

Gorgeous cosy cottage for the perfect Scotland stay

Pros: This property is absolutely lovely! So cosy and warm and welcoming when you first arrive. It has everything you need in a well equipped kitchen, all bedding, towels etc. Heating was easy to work but was lovely and warm anyway. Lovely touch with jigsaws and books to use and really did feel like home from home. Rural location is so peaceful with beautiful surroundings.

Cons: Nothing it was fab!
