Exceptional location and modern facilities

Pros: Had everything I needed. Exceptional location on the side of Blencathra, great views and access to the Northern fells. Good mobile signal. Fully functioning cooker :) and good heating.

Cons: Parking area for the cottage is under some maple trees dropping sap. Better to park away from the trees, there is plenty of space.

Great property

Pros: Comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Great shower. Kitchen provided everything needed. Living area was comfortable for after long walks. Fantastic location for lots of walking routes.

Cons: Personal preference a blackout blind in the bedroom would be better.

Fabulous location at the foot of blencathra with stunning views

Pros: Fabulous access to walks straight out of the door. New fully equipped kitchen and hot shower.

Cons: The nearest pub was about 1.5 miles away so if you have been walking all day then its not ideal. The sofa could do with a clean...light blue for a holiday let probably isn't going to stay clean.
