Will definitely be coming back. Close to Keswick and ideal for walking.

Pros: Our second time of stopping in one of the lovely lodges. Had all the amenities and a very good size lodge.

Perfectly located for exploring the lakes, comfort and enjoyable stay

Pros: The property and setting were fantastic, several property’s mixed between cottages, lodges. It was very quiet. Exceptionally dog friendly. The property was ample size for a couple with a dog or 2. Or even a small family although only 1 double bed; room for a blowup single bed in the bedroom. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. It made an excellent base for exploring the local and wider areas of the lakes. As the location isn’t remote easy access to main roads links. Ample parking, there is a small children’s play area near the cottages, fun steam and jet shower was a nice bonus after long days of walking and climbing. Basic tea/coffee supplies and sachet milk for arrival. Overall great value for money, great communication leading up to and during our stay with the owner although left to our own devices during our stay. Peaceful relaxing stay.

Cons: Only thing to mention are the stone tiled steps leading to the mezzanine style bedroom are very steep. Didn’t impact on our stay but a consideration for some

Great little place

Pros: Location, facilities, easy going atmosphere around the property, easy parking,characterful interior, excellent hot & high pressure shower.

Cons: Stair case, very tight curve, hard tiles & narrow parts to the steps. Also shower needed a real good clean & gruby gaffa tape was holding up the shower head.

Comfortable cottage but no public transport in location to go to other towns.

Pros: Nice and clean and met our needs. Staff are so lovely. Pub is a short walk away but on a very busy road. A short drive away from Aira force waterfall.

Cons: The bed was small and the ceiling height was low. Lots of bangs to the head. Although still a lovely place. Located on a busy A road and no buses to take you anywhere. Needed to drive to other towns.
