Fabulous stay in a great, quiet off the beaten track area

Pros: - Brilliant location with amazing views from all windows. - Lovely to sit with a cup of tea/glass of wine by the back door and watch the world drift by - Very cosy living room with a fire and plentiful firewood - we felt very snug in the evenings listening to the wind howling outside - Comfortable beds and complete silence meant we slept very well - Plenty of space for a family of four - Great walk over Stickle Pike to the Blacksmith's Arms in Broughton Mills - Easy to get to other areas in Lakes - Phil the host is responsive - Photographs show exactly what the property is like

Cons: - As mentioned in previous posts - easier access to the washing machine would have been convenient. We hadn't intended on doing any washing during our stay - but we found we hadn't brought enough socks! Acces was quickly and easily resolved.

Wer Ruhe liebt und die Natur mag, ist hier genau richtig!

Pros: Mit dieser Unterkunft waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Die Lage im Duddon Tal ist einfach wunderschön, wir haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung hat alles was man benötigt. Phil, der Vermieter, ist sehr zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Es macht sehr viel Spaß, hier seine Ferien zu verbringen. Sollten wir 2025 wieder Urlaub im Lake District machen, was wir sehr hoffen, werden wir wieder hierher kommen!
