A lovely place for a quiet, comfortable getaway.

Pros: Lovely spot with easy (20mins drive) access to Keswick and Penrith. Peaceful environment both inside the property and in the garden and surrounding fells. Nice views. Walks available from the property as well as the option to drive .

Cons: Check in time was after 5pm on arrival, and checkout was by 9:30am on day of departure. Too early for a leisurely final morning. And much earlier than our usual experience

Our favourite Lakeland retreat

Pros: Beautiful location, extremely well equipped and comfortable. Off the beaten track yet within reach of the northern lakes and the Eden Valley for excellent walking. The views are stunning and the garden sunny and secluded.

Wish we could have had longer and hopefully we think thats an extra bed upstairs for when we come back with the grandpar

Pros: A gorgeous mix of modern and old, tastefully decorated throughout. Love the wall colours! Such a cute & cosy but spacious cottage. Great pressure in the shower and had the best nights sleep in the beds! Fantastic space in the garden and the secluded location was so peaceful and perfect. Fabulous sized fridge.

Cons: Address/location isnt advertised properly and needs much better signage on the gate. The patio and nettles needs a big sort out. A cupboard needs emptying for guests to store food weve brought with us!
