Value for money lovely setting

Pros: The welcome a bit if a hiccup to begin with but sorted out amicably

Cons: The patio door didn’t lock during DNF bother us but might if affected others

A lovely team of staff.

Pros: The hotel is in such a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean as was the hotel in general. We enjoyed our dinner and give 5* to the home made rice pudding. Delicious

Cons: Our room was spacious, but, the TV small and not in the best position. Also, the signal was poor so we gave up on it. The building is beautiful and certainly kept at a comfortable temperature. The furniture and decoration are a bit dated

Pros: I found the staff polite and friendly. A lovely ambience and I had the Haddock and chips evening meal which was absolutely fantastic. Loved the interior, and each area was warm. I do not have a single complaint.

Pros: I like swim pool. Sauna, jakuzzi. restaurant, pub, staff kindness and beautiful surrounding area. I also like the hotel itself, the themed interior, the living room with a chimney, carpets, high ceilings, chandeliers, mirrors

Cons: In my room, the napkin box had some of dirty, used napkins, which was a bit disgusting. Another issue is searching on Booking.com. When I added filters (restaurant, pool, free parking, etc.), the price limit in the search engine automatically adjusted, with the lower limit automatically rising to £150. This couldn't be lowered in any way. I only stayed at this hotel because I knew it and used the name Cally Palace in the search engine. Otherwise, it wouldn't appear, as the search engine automatically limited the lower price to £150, while Cally Palace requested a lower price. I think if Cally Palace has some kind of agreement with Booking.com, they should make a complaint, as Booking.com is kicking them out through that search engine. I'll look for a way to report this to Booking.com also, as they'll limit my choices as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return very soon.

Pros: It’s beautiful. It was peaceful with lovely walks through woods. Room was huge and very clean. Staff were extremely polite, helpful and caring.our dog was well catered for too being spoiled by everyone!

Pros: Stunning hotel with huge rooms, friendly staff, great food and a lovely pool. It was very quiet when we were there but the staff were amazing. The interior was stunning, well maintained and made for a lovely escape.

Cons: Food not so good ..pretty bland and expensive., Hotel bedrooms slightly dated which we are fine with but other folks would expect more modernized for the price.
