Great Property

Pros: Good size place. Excellent bathing facilities. The place was clean enough and everything you would expect was there to be used.Great location as it's central to town. Would definitely stay again 😊

Great location and facilities.

Pros: The property was located less than 10 mins walk from the train station and this was perfect for us. Surrounded by lots of local restaurants and shops and very picturesque being on the doorstep of St Paul’s church. The property is clean, well maintained, modern but homely.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like but just a few things we noted that maybe other people staying might appreciate. The step up into the property is quite high, so be aware if you are a little less mobile or if you have had a drink or two, there are also two steps up to the kitchen, bedroom and en suite. There are no windows that can be opened in the bedroom/en suite and as much as we loved the summer weather whilst at the property it was quite warm and could have done with a fan to keep the air moving.

Perfect location for exploring Carlisle.

Pros: Thurnams House was well-equipped, cozy and comfortable. Though centrally located it was very quiet, which we especially appreciated after a long flight. Check-in was simple and convenient.

Pros: Amazing spacious apartment. A lot bigger than we thought it would be! Was decorated lovely and the bed was so comfy! Perfect location for the city centre. Great communication from the staff.

Cons: Couldn’t park outside the apartment. We had to park in a car park which you have to pay for. (£8 a day, £8 a night) However, we were told this by the staff before we arrived and the car park was only a 2 minute walk away if that. Also, it is a very secure car park with barriers so was very happy knowing my car was safe.

Review of Thurnam House

Pros: Really close to town and the layour of the flat was lovely.

Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable, but could be down to not being my own. I still slept well though.

Pros: Nice modern apartment, well equipped kitchen. Central location. Very good size.

Cons: Shower leaked. Carpets need cleaning, my feet got dirty walking on them. It's a bit noisy, although bedroom is fairly quiet.

Saturday night stay in Carlisle city centre

Pros: Ideal location, a great space, really comfortable bed, exactly what we needed

Cons: The only small issue, was the shower hose leaking from the thermostatic control

Pros: Apartment was lovely inside location was perfect also would definitely stay again.

Ruim en comfortabel appartement dicht bij het centrum, met een paar minpuntjes.

Pros: Ruim, goed ingedeeld, comfortabel, heel dicht bij het centrum. Aardige styling, vrij nieuw in de verf. Brandschoon. Complete uitrusting (behalve…). Prijzig als je voor 1 dag huurt.

Cons: Het is merkwaardig dat het appartement een wasmachine heeft maar geen wasmiddel. Een huurder die er een paar dagen zit en 1 was doet, moet dus een doos wasmiddel kopen. Ook shampoo en douchegel ontbreken (niet zo vreemd, dat is meer iets voor een hotel). Maar bij navraag komen de verhuurders niet in actie. Ik heb te kort vantevoren geboekt, vinden ze, om het in orde te maken. Wel vragen ze om een gunstige beoordeling omdat ze een klein bedrijf zijn. Hmmm. Het bed kraakt flink, een raam open doen is lastig (aan de straat), hier en daar mankeert er wat aan het onderhoud (badkamer). Geen ventilatie in slaapkamer.
