Penninghame Estate - Stewart Apartment

Pros: excellent accommodation, very large digs and great value for money.

Cons: Access directions were a little and a private app was accidently accessed using the same pin as the Stewart Appts.

Pros: What a stunning location in the heart of Galloway, just a short drive from Newton Stewart. That this apartment sleeps 12 is huge value for money, plus it's absolutely gorgeous with a massive communal living area. Penninghame Estate is absolutely fabulous too.

Cons: Was difficult to get lifts in/out of Newton Stewart in the evening as the taxi services are limited.

Pros: You don’t really know how beautiful this place is until you arrive. It’s very peaceful, with nice walking paths, a river right next to the building, and even a lovely old building with interesting history. The garden and trees are amazing it feels like walking through a royal garden! There’s also a beautiful campfire spot made with stone and wooden benches. Don’t miss it it’s the perfect place to sit around, relax, and enjoy the sound of the river. The facilities are great too, but if you want to use the BBQ, sauna, or gym, you should let the hosts know in advance so they can get them ready. You can always stay in touch with the host. They are very kind and helpful, they even send a couple of messages during your stay to check if you need anything or if you’re comfortable. It’s also only about 10 minutes from the city, so it’s easy to get anything you need. I really recommend this place!
