Absolutely Amazing! Very Cosy & Scenic

Pros: Celebrated my birthday with my father over the weekend, and as avid book lovers, we had to visit Wigtown! The property was super cosy, with lovely surroundings, and the log burner kept us very warm. The host was great, leaving a lovely hamper for us on arrival. I loved the decor, and the many games and books in the property were a great touch. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Pros: Lovely owners, great location, cosy and comfortable, thoughtful and generous welcome basket on arrival

Cons: The only minor niggle is the small sink in the bathroom- a bit tricky to wash your face.

Pros: Lovely setting in a very rural and peaceful area. 2 mins drive to the nearest town. Dog friendly. The beds were amazingly comfortable!!!

Lovely cottage In great location for visiting the area with an easy walk into Wigtown.

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage with everything you could need, very generous welcome pack. Owner friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Could have been cleaner, mould round shower screen trim and hair ball under bed but generally clean apart from these aspects.

Beautiful and peaceful

Pros: Beautifully done out. Gorgeous little touches everywhere and roses round the door. A lovely welcome basket of useful things. Very friendly - everyone waves and says hello. Ideal location for touring the area. Quiet and peaceful at night.

Cons: The gorgeous kitchen sink on the beautiful worktop is a little impractical for washing up, but there is a dishwasher. Nothing else I can think of!
