Would Recommend

Pros: Great base for exploring the area, lovely wee quiet village with fab Italian restaurant, well stocked local shop and pub all a very short walk away. House is very spacious. 3 bathrooms were ideal for our family group. Lovely garden and immaculately clean, comfy beds and good showers. Owners were really friendly. Would definitely book again.

Cons: The wet room drainage is not great, toilet and sink floor area gets flooded when showering so worth looking at. Otherwise all good for us.

Lovely house and region

Pros: A well-specced house 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and large lounge and kitchen. Extremely peaceful and lovely location in the beautiful garden of the larger main house, within a quiet village in the heart of the Dumfries and Galloway hills. Has everything one would need for a longer stay (washing machine, kitchen equipment, microwave, dishwasher, TVs etc). Hosts very friendly but also left us to do our thing. Would certainly stay again.

Pros: The coach house was very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need especially a big table we can all sit at to play games and chat, comfortable beds, great location, & the village is lovely 😍

Pros: Booked the place for our three engineers. It was nice and clean, had everything they needed.

Cons: We couldn't use the showers or the bath as they were very deep and had no crab handles or rubber mats , we are elderly so not safe , fortunately there was a wet room down stairs . Shaving was difficult for one of our group as his bathroom mirror was wasted high.

Great location and amazing period property.

Pros: Fully equipped self contained house with plenty of space. Hosts really friendly and contactable.

Pros: Location was excellent for walking and scenic views. Accommodation was superb, very clean with everything you needed in the house. Parking was good. The garden was beautiful with plenty of spaces to sit outside and enjoy the flowers and bird life.

Pros: Beautiful property in the heart of the village,pretty gardens and such a peaceful location. We had a lovely stay.

Cons: A small welcome pack of milk,a few tea bags and coffee etc would have been appreciated.

Pros: Beautiful countryside, location, peaceful, and quiet. Spotlessly clean. It has a wonderful large kitchen.

Cons: Could use a few more pots pans, and skillets.
