Stay at Station flat Thornhill

Pros: The flat was lovely and warm when we arrived with lights and heating on to welcome us on a cold November evening. It had everything you needed and some lovely thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

Cosy dog-friendly appartement and very good for self-catering

Pros: Cosy,spacy and very dog-friendly appartement. Warm lights were turned on in the rooms. I felt very welcomed. There were also some sweets for me and tasty treats for my dog. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed very comfy. We enjoyed staying there very much. Sharon is a very kind and helpful person who really cares about her guests. She is also willing to send me my left Scottish jacket back to Germany. Thanks in advance Sharon!

Pros: Wasn’t like a flat more like a detached bungalow. Very quiet and lots of extra touches like milk buiscuts toiletries etc

Pros: The flat was spotless, tastefully decorated and had a lot of wee extras. Extremely quiet at night. The property is an old railway station and the occasional train passes by but this was part of the fun. The owner was extremely responsive to messages and even checked in with us on our first night to make sure everything was ok. This is a lovely flat and within walking distance (or a short drive) of a lovely village with good pub and shops. We hope to return soon.

Cons: Nothing about the flat to dislike. Only issue we had was no taxis run on a Sunday but the town is within walking distance for most people so unless you have mobility issues is not a problem.

Excellent comfortable little cottage

Pros: Great little cottage very clean and comfortable and plenty extras

Cons: No enclosed garden for our dog very close to the road

Excellent property which exceeded expectations.

Pros: In a quiet location 1 mile from Thornhill, this property is beautifully renovated with lovely personal touches. Although it's designated as a ground floor flat in a large building, it's more like a semi detached cottage,with plenty of space. It's exceptionally well equipped, even including items such as sandwich bags and personal toiletries. Sharon was a very friendly and helpful host, who even offered to pick me up if I got lost on a local walk. I can't recommend this property enough.

Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like. It is 1mile away from Thornhill along a quiet road with pavement, and there is a weekday bus service. Main line pacer trains occasionally pass close by, but I found this interesting rather than disturbing.

A delightful place to stay

Pros: A delightful apartment, very attractively furnished and full of everything you might need plus lots of little luxury items. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Cons: We liked everything

We had a lovely overnight stay but it was nice enough that for someone to stay longer.

Pros: The flat was clean and comfortable. There was a lovely little wood further up the road where we took our dog for a walk. Facilities were very good with extras included like milk and toiletries.
