Nice relaxing getaway in a therapeutic ritual scenery, hot tub was a fantastic bonus for relaxation.

Pros: Lodge was amazing nice and compact with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff were lovely and helpful and a short message away was nice to relax for the weekend. It was a Nice relaxing weekend getaway in a therapeutic ritual scenery, hot tub was a fantastic bonus for relaxation.

Cons: Everything was amazing apart from the mattress was a little uncomfortable.

Overall really lovely stay and would happily go back

Pros: In a super location, very peaceful and lovely trails. Close enough in the car to castle Douglas which was great for grabbing food or groceries. Hot tub was lovely.

Cons: A few little things like no kitchen roll, only one roll of toilet roll and only a cloth for dishes, a sponge or scrubber would have been better to get some food off the pans etc but I understand this could be personal preference

Pros: The location was lovely and peaceful. The pods were very well equipped and made a good use of the space. Enjoyed the hot tubs and had a very relaxing break.

Cons: We arrived around 4pm and the heating in the pod was turned down low it did heat up quickly jeweler would have been better yo come into the warmth as it was a wet and windy day. Keepi a couple of toilet rolls in the bathroom would be advisable. If any PAT testing is required this would be better done outside of guests staying or pre warn before visit. The beds were quite hard slept well the first night after that was uncomfortably hard may be worth adding additional mattress topper to soften.

Beautiful location, great base for the area.

Pros: Lovely cottage, had everything you could need for a few nights stay. Cozy and comfortable bed, had a great view first thing in the morning. Spa was an awesome bonus.

Cons: I can only add that you are on a horse training course so the odd rider coming past the window was a little less than private but honestly everything else was great so didn’t matter for me.

Pros: We loved our short break at the pond Lodges. It was peaceful, and the views from the Lodges were beautiful. This was the perfect getaway that we needed. The Lodges had everything we needed to be comfortable for our visit. It was great that we could go out and explore the grounds of Barstobrick and enjoy the trails.

Cons: I would have liked to have seen a few more direction signs on the hot blast trail. In the beginning, we were a bit unsure which path to take.

Pros: Special location for walks, quiet and to explore the area.

Very relaxing and a lovely cabin.

Pros: Located on an equestrian centre, which was great as you could see many lovely ponies. Located near Kirkcudbright which is a lovely town, highly recommend the artisan cheese shop. Very close to the beach which was lovely even in January. Hot tub was lovely

Cons: The drive to the cabin could be better sign posted. We arrived in the dark and the sat nav only takes you to the entry of the property. This was also an issue for the couple in the cabin next to us. However, if you continue on with the road you will find the cabins. Shower could have been stronger but these issues definitely did not waste my stay this place was lovely!
