Helen was such a lovely host, the farmhouse is lovely and we had the best time!

Pros: The farm house was absolutely beautiful! Lovely beams throughout and with a lake on one side and mountain on the other it couldn’t get better!

Cons: Impossible to find anything

Perfect location, lovely accommodation, a relaxing stay.

Pros: Perfect location for doing lots of hiking in and around Keswick. Just up the road from Dodd Wood. Also, within walking distance to Bassenthwaite Lake. The host was very welcoming, the room was great and the breakfast was delicious. Overall - very good value for money. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and would like to stay here again in the future.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and the host had thought of almost everything. Loved the heated floor and great wet room/shower. Host was friendly and provided lovely homemade biscuits. She was very accomadating when we arrived later than planned.

Cons: The window for breakfast was quite short and started at 8.15 which could be quite late for hikers

Fantastic stay in a beautiful area of the lake district

Pros: Our 3 night stay at Sandhills Farm was perfect! Helen is such a lovely host and is very friendly and welcoming. The views of the mountains and lakes from Sandhills Farm and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful! Plenty of wildlife to be seen if you love animals like us, we even saw a deer! We stayed in the Limousin room which was fantastic. The facilities were great, it was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The homemade biscuits in the room were very yummy! We had a view from our window of the mountain and the sheep and lambs which was wonderful. Helens breakfast was very yummy! Plenty of choice for cooked and continental and the homemade jam was delicious. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning! 😁
