Wonderful Stay!

Pros: Our arrival was well managed by our host, clear directions. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean and really well equipped. I LOVED the kitchen, everything you could need and things that you didn't know you needed. Blackout curtains in the bedroom and fantastic shower.. Our dogs loved the garden and their stay.

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Pros: The fiddlers rest was spotless great it had it's own wee garden with tables and chairs to chill out in it's a lovely wee village couldn't fault it at all and owner was great when I needed his help

Welcoming

Pros: Lovely week in spotless comfortable surroundings. Can’t wait to come back again. We were made to feel welcome wherever we went in the village. Love Ballantrae

Pros: This little apartment was extremely clean! Every room was spotless.

Cons: Finding it... I went to the door at front with 37 on it... that's was my stupidity... so maybe put on notes it's at back up stairs .

Would definitely come back and the hosts were first class

Perfect charming get-away & a beautiful beach 3 mins walk away

Pros: This charming apartment has a musical theme and a beautiful big garden. The sofa was spacious and comfortable. The main bedroom was very cozy and the bed was big and comfy. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even have an iron and board, which I found very useful! The place keeps very warm as there are several heaters. They even have a little heater in the bathroom. The location is a perfect little getaway, as it’s in a quiet village, and a 3 mins walk away from the beach. The beach is very pretty and it’s a lovely long walk alongside the shore. Perfect for dog walks, exploring, and even swimming if you have a wet suit/ dry suit. There is also a co op store 30 sec walk from the apartment.

Cons: Heating is overnight storage heating, so I recommend the owners to put on heating the night before the guests arrive. It was initially chilly when we arrived as none of the heating was on, but the place got warm quite quickly as they had other separate heaters we turned on as soon as we arrived.

Cosy and comfortable

Pros: Super nice cosy flat for our work trip. Perfect for events at Glenapp Castle. Everything you need in the kitchen and living room.

Cons: Perhaps a rug or some curtains to make the living room a little cosier? No major complaints at all, it's a lovely flat!

First class great garden space for the dog

Pros: Location is perfect for access to beach and we were very luckie with weather

Cons: Unfortunately the local pub is only open on Friday

Mainly satisfied as the house is well maintained.

Pros: No breakfast basics available but found the property very comfortable especially the lovely garden. Kitchen equipment good but a tray would have been very helpful. Cleanliness excellent.

Cons: No bottle of milk or salt and pepper or other basics as I've experienced when booked other properties. The temperature of the shower could have been a bit hotter yet the tap water in the kitchen was piping hot. The noise from heavy lorries driving through in the night from the ferry disturbed sleep at times....sorry.

Pros: The accommodation was clean comfortable and close to the local co-op and other amenities. Ideal for our visit.
