Great stay in a wonderful location

Pros: Great location! The back garden was perfect when travelling with a dog. Lovely views from the back garden.

Pros: Cottage was comfortable and warm,thankyou to the host for tea, sugar and fresh milk to start us off. Lovely view from the garden and loved sitting outside on the porch with a cuppa in the morning.

A lovely one levelnice shared garden, good views, nice cafe, but let down by the need

Pros: The property was all on one level which was ideal for me. The layout was good and there was everything I needed. I loved the double glass doors which led into the garden and had a lovely view. What made my stay exceptionally good was the onsite gallery which had a cafe which served lovely food and drinks.

Cons: The cleanliness was disappointing. The bedding didn’t have protectors on although the linen was spotless. I used the vacuum but it wouldn’t take the bits up and I ended up having to dismantle the tubing as it was clogged up with what was obviously the remnants of Christmas decorations. The fridge door had quite a lot of rust on it and the freezer compartment needed defrosting. The microwave turntable didn’t work and the hob had remnants of food on it. The toilet door, near the handle, on the inside was splashed and the shower looked like someone had spilt coffee or tea on the doors inside. The stone walls had little ‘cut out’ bits for small decors but when I wiped them they were filthy. There also seemed to be a problem with the toilet waste system as when flushed the water stayed in the bowl a while before slowly emptying, not very pleasant.
