Fabulous stay. Room was big and comfortable and clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional

Pros: The location is excellent. A short bus ride or taxi into Keswick. The rooms are bright and beds very comfortable. The restaurant is exceptional.

Cons: Our room was at the front and as it was warm we had the windows open but the road outside gets a bit noisy in the mornings.

Super hotel, recommended

Pros: Friendly staff, hotel v pet friendly. Loved the rooms with patio area, great for taking dog out and not bringing mud etc back through hotel. Breakfast especially excellent.

Exceptional Value for Money, great food & amazing location

Pros: We had breakfast which was amazing, and on the second night we had evening meal which was also exceptional. Whole experiance of food, staff and accommodation all exceeding our expectations of a 3 star hotel and couldnt have asked for anything more, staff were exteremly tentative, food amazing and room was great value for Money. Location was perfect for our walking holiday around Derwent Water.

Cons: There is nothing we could find to improve on. We discussed whilde on holiday how good value it was and said is there anything we would write that we could suggest improving on and there is honestly nothing

First class stay and reasonably priced.

Pros: The decor was beautiful throughout The Ruddings. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was cosy yet elegant and the food was delicious 😋. Breakfast was first class and the staff very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Cons: Nothing. If I was to be extremely picky I would have perhaps have liked to see pastries at breakfast. The fruit salad and choice of menu was superb however.

Pros: Excellent friendly staff. exceptional quality food with a few outstandingly good dishes

Cons: I found the single bed uncomfortable because I think it must have had a protective layer under the bed sheet which I find makes me overheat at night.
