We had a fantastic week and would definitely stay again.

Pros: Archway Cottage is in a great village in easy reach of the Lake District and all it has to offer. The cottage is beautifully presented and has everything you could need and more. The host is wonderful and could not have been more helpful.

Pros: The fixtures, fittings and decor of the cottage are of high quality and very tasteful. The village of Caldbeck obviously takes a pride in itself; all the gardens are lovely, including that belonging to the cottage itself, from which you can hear the river and lots of birdsong.
