Great spot for exploring the Langdales

Pros: Great location with lovely short walks to two nice pubs. Bathroom in the house was really nice - great shower.

Cons: Slightly old and grubby looking sheepskin type rugs. We rolled them up and put them in a cupboard while we were there! Tea and coffee had been left in kilner jars, but there was only a scrap of coffee. I feel that either there should be no supplies at all, or they should be properly provided. Hosts often leave a pint of milk in the fridge for guests which is always a nice gesture. Although there's a Co-op shop in the village, it wasn't open by the time we arrived.
