Great place to escape with the dogs & unwind.

Pros: What a hidden gem! Great location to get to the coast or central lakes etc. very comfortable & cosy, not lacking in anything. Great secure garden for the dogs. Lovely welcome from the owner who was seeing to her animals & even presented us with 2 eggs fresh out of the ducks 🤣. We have made a note to return next year 👍

excellent cosey cottage

Pros: property was fabulous, keys in the door on arrival and the place looked great as soon as we walked through the door. the layout was perfect and the view was lovely. The best thing was being treated like a grown up with real crystal glasses and decanters in the cupboard to use, not just plastic cups and cheap glass, a real nice touch. hot tub just outside the back door was great as was the communal pool and sauna. overall a fabulous place to stay close to other towns but just away from everything.

Cons: the only issue with the whole stay was so basic its odd to have to bring up and i can only assume it was an oversite, there was no tea, coffee sugar, that kind of thing, and more than 1 ice cube tray would be helpful.

It was really relaxing.

Pros: A very comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Being able to go for a swim in the pool was really appreciated.

A beautiful location with superb host and acces to the Lake District

Can’t wait to come back.

Pros: Everything, super comfy, had everything you need and more, was super clean, kitchen had a great supply of items needed to cook. Garden was enclosed and huge for the dog and was in the sun all day!! Hot tub was great and was well used as we had amazing weather, and having access to use the pool daily was amazing and a extra bonus. Remote enough for the peace but close enough to anything you could need while away.

Cons: That I didn’t book for longer
