Brilliant! ... access, ammenities, location in the valley, location in the village ... I could go on

Pros: Exceptional location in the centre, while also remote from, Grassmere village (I know that sounds like a contradiction but a 100m walk and over a bridge delivers you to the village centre), stores, pubs and restaurants are all really close, and any cycling, walking or climbing you may want to do are all direct from the front door. Simply cannot praise the locaton highly enough. The property itself was extremely well presented and equiped with plenty of external, as well as internal dining chairs etc. Loved it!

Cons: Quips (and that's all they are) the layout of the kitchen with the kitchen sink seperate from the cooking area, was a bit awkward and the dishwasher was the noisiest I've encountered .... that said I'd re-book in a heartbeat!

Cottage was a delight and so quaint with all that you needed to enjoy a lovely holiday there.

Pros: The cottage was so quaint and it had everything you needed and more. The owners had thought of everything. Comfortable and relaxing and made the trip to the Lakes even more special

Cons: The end bathroom was freezing and never got warm

Comfortable and in an excellent location, ideal for our needs.

Pros: The location and bathrooms were nice, bedrooms good and good parking space, kitchen well equipped with plenty of storage.

Cons: Better instructions for working the hob as not familiar with it, unclear on heating. Bit dark inside, could do with brightening up a bit. Dodgy flooring going into one bedroom. DVD player would be great as well.

Pros: Location was superb.spacious and clean. Overall it was a wonderful break .very clean and well stocked cutlery,cups,etc...we will go again.

Cons: Think we may of been first in as the accommodation did smell a little damp.we did go on the 24th March so maybe it's not been used over the winter.

Pros: Underbart hus med perfekt läge i Grasmere. Endast ca 100-200 meter att gå till byn.
