The Gallery was a lovely place to come back to after cold snowy walks.

Pros: Very comfortable and warm apartment in an excellent location in the middle of Grasmere village. Well-equipped kitchen and good shower. Plenty of walking opportunities from the door. Well-stocked Co-op store just down the road and a very frequent bus service to Keswick, Windermere and beyond.

Cons: Only 1 small pillow/pillowcase per person on the beds. Another baking tray would be useful. One of the keys for the door is very tricky - the other one is better. The door was stiff and a bit difficult to open and close.

Lush

Pros: This location is central, with close access to amenities and local bus routes. There is a Co-op store and a selection of food and shops less than a minutes walk away. Despite being central, the apartment is a quiet bliss with everything you could need and more. Beautifully presented and plush beds to sleep in.

Adorable apartment with gorgeous views of the mountains

Pros: The apartment was adorable, offering gorgeous views of the village and mountains. There is a charming gallery on the ground floor and plenty of cafes and shops nearby. I loved the style and furnishings of the place. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed.

Cons: The double bed was a bit too small, making it difficult for two tall people to sleep comfortably. However, I'm sure this can be fixed if needed.
