Upton Down

Upton Down was a very spacious, 3 bedded comfortable cosy house .

Pros: Good location 3min walk to Keswick centre for all amenities, approx 8min walk to Derwentwater lake.

Pros: lovely apartment which was very well appointed- more so than the agent had led us to believe. it had cloths, washing up liquid, clothes washing tabs, dishwasher tabe etc - so all great

Cons: i hadnt expected so many stairs for some reason. apartment is spread over 3 floors with an additioanl half landing so there are a few. There is only one bathroom which is as advertised and everyone comments on - we knew this so exactly as expected. we were only 4 adults so were ok but i wouldnt take adults to this accommodation

Pros: Excellent facility , very clean,well equipped kitchen only real downside only one bathroom and toilet and parking on street difficult at week ends. We would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent location, spacious accommodation and well equipped kitchen

Pros: Keys in a lock box by the door, easily found with code provided in advance. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofas in the living room. Comfortable beds with huge bedrooms

Cons: Cleanliness wasn't 100% but beds and towels were clean which is all that really matters. It was also very hot as the heating was left on a high setting but we soon figured out how to reduce this although it did take a long time to cool.

Perfect.

Pros: Everything was perfect, the photos don’t do it justice, me and all my friends had a lovely stay here, kitchen is equipped with mostly everything you would need, beds are extremely comfortable, location is perfect!

Cons: The only negative I have is there is only 1 toilet with shower, this can be a little issue when 6 adults needs showers and toilets, however I would stay again so doesn’t matter that much :)

Cons: As it can sleep up to six people we felt that one bathroom was not enough, there ideally could have been another toilet in the property

Pros: Very spacious and in good location. Our second stay there.

Cons: We have stayed in it before but this time the housekeeping let it down. Not very clean in places,seemed as though a lot of areas had been over looked.There was a large stain in the corner of the lounge(looked like a cup of coffee had had been spilt and not cleaned up.There was dirt and dust on most of the internal window sills.The hoover was full to the top with dirt (never been emptied)The beds had not been pulled out.You could see it was not as clean as our previous stay there. It has put us off staying there in the future. The front door was very difficult to open due to really tight fit.

Lovely stay in fab accomodation!

Pros: Really well proportioned rooms and more interesting than the average rental. Very comfortable and spacious and a great location. Well maintained, with all mod cons. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: The ladies in our group commented that a lack of dressing tables with mirrors made getting ready more challenging! Shower temperature was quite hard to control.
