Pros: Loved the original features, the log burner, the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were extremely well appointed, loads of hot water. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. The location was perfect with a great pub across the road and only a short walk into the heart of Keswick. There was an issue with the boiler before we arrived, however, the communication was excellent, we were given other options, and fortunately the issue was all sorted.
Cons: The photos do make the rooms look larger, however the size of them was more than adequate. A little bit cool in the main bedroom but it was a frosty few days. That room was also quite on a slope which is fine if you don't mind that.

Quirky little cottage.
Pros: Great location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Great kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. The cottage was spotlessly clean. The uneven floors took a bit of getting used to, but definitely adds to the character of the cottage. Will definitely stay again.
Cons: The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom needs attention as it is loose.

Very very nice place
Pros: Beautiful location, very well maintained and reserved
Cons: Given the age of the house it’s understandable but one bedroom floor was so sloped the bed was angled

A long weekend that we have done for years at this time of year in a favourite place.
Pros: We liked the quirkiness of the cottage with its wonky floors and beams. The kitchen and bathrooms are first class as were the linen and towels. The owners were very accommodating.
Cons: If there was anything it would have been that the settee and chairs were not very comfortable being hard leather. We would have preferred something more comfy. Other than that everything was great.

Mostly excellent, a few little upgrades would make this a 5 star property
Pros: Charming cottage, beautifully equipped kitchen, important for me, as I was finalising decorating my daughter’s wedding cake! Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds
Cons: Living room let the property down a bit. Uncomfortable couch, no coffee or side tables to put a book or cup of tea. Tv and internet a challenge to access and no easily visible instructions. No shampoo or conditioner provided

Lovely cottage in lovely Keswick
Pros: Great central location in Keswick, near local shops and a short drive to numerous fells / lakes. Very helpful to have a Saturday to Saturday booking, as most accommodations are from Friday to Friday only for a 1-week stay. The property was built in the 1600s but has been modernised with a very convenient kitchen, whilst retaining its charm in many ways.
Cons: We were 5 guests in total so having two bathrooms was really important for us. Unfortunately, the ground floor toilet remained blocked / did not flush properly throughout our 1-week stay - so only the upstairs toilet was functional. The maintenance person (Barb) was indeed helpful and kind in coming out straight away in trying to resolve the blockage which did help to an extent.
