A little gem!

Pros: Well situated for exploring the region. Interesting info in the house. Very comfy beds. Comfy seating. Beautiful kitchen. TV was easy to use. Great parking. Quiet and relaxing. Beautiful wood burner with logs etc provided. Sadly it was too warm to use it. We saw deer and had regular visits from birds. A fantastic place!

Perfect home from home

Pros: Our third stay was as brilliant as always. Well equipped house with lovely views of the river, enclosed garden for the dog and stunning log fire. Owners are very thoughtful leaving a welcome basket and milk in the fridge. We will be back!

Very enjoyable, lovely house and good facilities well cared for.

Pros: Interesting location near to River Dee and Tongland Hydro station - and convenient distance from Kirkcudbright. Great location for cycling with National cycle route 7 nearby and many good quiet minor roads with little traffic. Good safe location for the dogs also, and nice walks by the Dee estuary nearby

Brilliant again

Pros: Second visit to this gorgeous property. Everything you could need and more. We especially enjoyed the log burner this time, it was lovely in the dark evenings.

enjoyed it from arrival to departure, we will be back hopefully.

Pros: we liked everything, the finish inside was top notch , very comfortable, everything had been thought about, to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. bedding towels kitchen equipment excellent, even a hamper of goodies on arrival for us and the dog. quiet peaceful idilic location .

Cons: nothing at all
