Perfect Peaceful Getaway

Pros: Location is fantastic, quiet and peaceful with a lovely RSPB nature reserve to explore as well as the surrounding area. Cottage is well provisioned and comfortable. Saw deer within a few hundred metres of the cottage everyday, as well as lots of other wildlife.

Pros: The cottage was very pleasant and had all the facilities that we needed. The RSPB Reserve staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. It was a very restful place to stay with great access to the local beach and countryside. The bathroom has been modernised and was very pleasant to use.

Cons: There was no written information on how to use the TV and DVD box. Whilst it wasn't difficult once we had been shown how to do it, simple written guidance would have saved reserve staff time. The wallpaper in the double bedroom in particular would benefit attention and it lets down the overall quality of the cottage. Otherwise the pluses well outweigh the negatives and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
