Stylish & cosy barn minutes from the Lake District

Beautiful cosy stay in a gorgeous home

Pros: Location is wonderful, parking and outdoor space plenty and everything provided was clean, modern and to a high standard

Cons: That we had to leave

Pros: A gorgeous little character 1 bedroom cottage style house.

Cons: The adjoining Lane is a farm track and was a bit muddy but to be expected.

Great location for a quiet cosy weekend.

Pros: Comfortable bed, clean towels and lovely fireplace.

Cons: I wish I could stay longer.

Really cute, cosy barn. Great location. Immaculately clean & tidy. Dog friendly! Great couples get away.

Pros: Mostly stylish. Upstairs much more modern, but cosy feel. Secure outside space making it perfect for guests bringing the dogs. Super comfy beds. Everywhere was spotless clean!

Cons: There wasn’t much I didn’t like. If we’re being ridiculously picky… there were a few scuff marks to walls which could be easily covered with a paint, a few water marks downstairs by the doors, larger tv & make it lower so you’re not having to crank your neck to watch anything, more modern cooker & worktop. Please give more than 1 match for the wood fire, & actually more wood, enough to last a few evenings. No heating on prior to our arrival in mid Jan, it was freezing, took till the next morning to feel a good temp again. No point having that hairdryer. But, honestly, that’s just being personal preference & really picky!

Lovely barn close to the motorway/Penrith

Pros: Really easy location off the motorway. Very well equipped self catering, and absolutely immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Hosts very helpful and helped return a left item.

Cons: My only feedback to the host was that the mattress felt a bit worn, but they were appreciated of the feedback and feel it's a small criticism overall.

Pros: Great accommodation, had everything we needed which made for a lovely stay! The enclosed yard was great as we could let our dog outside without worrying

Lovely - very homely with the fire!

Pros: Such a stunning little barn. I wish the fencing had wire too so I could let me dog off the lead. Very warm and cosy! Lovely views and silence of the Lake District.

Cons: There was no oil, salt or pepper.

Pros: Lovely little village nice and quiet and as in the name it was nice and cosy as well ,lovely views of the farm land and a good base for exploring Cumbria

Cons: Nothing it was clean and very tidy just a lovely cosy barn
