Mousehole to Gosforth trip

Pros: The layout of the açcommodation. We live in a fishing village in Cornwall where we also have an upside down house and live above the bedrooms. The location was excellent and we enjoyed eating at the many places within walking distance and having budgens to walk to. Abi was able to straighten out any problems as were Alan and Nancy up the other end.

Cons: One of the bathrooms was not as nice as the other. We all used the same bathroom (not the pink one). My son put a towel on the basin to protect the shower panel from bumping into the basin. It seemed like an accident waiting to happen.

Pros: Good location. Nice place. Good access to our favourite parts of the Lakes. Nice pub next door.

Cons: Deducted 1 star as they gave us the wrong code to the key safe which resulted in us getting drenched by the rain while trying to get into the safe. They missed our first call to them but call was returned 10minutes later (was 10PM though).

Great location, with comfortable clean and well appointed accommodation

Pros: Great location ideal for access to Wast Water and Scafell Pike which are all in easy driving distance. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Some good places to eat nearby which were all reasonably priced, local store within 10 minute walk too, close to the coast for a change of scene too.

Cons: Nothing that fell short for our stay exactly what we were looking with easy check in and check out too. Weather variable but to be expected in the area and always a good idea to go prepared for the British weather as we did.

Pros: Great location and most amenities are nearby. Everything was just perfect.

Cons: Couldn't turn heaters on. It was no biggie, more down to me not turning the thermostat up I guess.

Comfortable place in a lovely area.

Pros: It felt cosy, comfortable and safe, there was a lovely pub nextdoor and coffee and tea available which is always a winner.

Cons: Could do with a tin opener, the showers were a little slow and could do with being replaced, as was the television.
