Unique Country Estate nr Mountains & Beach

Pros: Amazing gardens. From every window You can see something green. Everything was so clean. Every blanket and pillow had a lovely fresh smell. Highly recommend for stay. And owner also left for us milk coffe tea butter. just perfect. Thank you

Comfortable stay in lovely accomodation - can't wait to come back!

Pros: Beautiful surroundings, great check in instructions, games and children's toy kitchen fab (& bonus!), beds very comfy, spacious and friendly owners. The kitchen was well thought out and we had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

We loved our stay at this hidden gem!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this unique little home! Spacious, well-equipped, nicely decorated. We also appreciated the added extras for children - the play kitchen and colouring was such a lovely added touch! Really comfortable and cosy. The secret garden was wonderful too!

Cons: It was a difficult to find in the dark and internet / wifi signal was poor. But both due to the rural, beautiful location!

Good lication and spacious

Pros: I was staying for work, it was clean warm and comfortable. The fesshlt baked bread was a nice toich.

Cons: The WiFi was unusable but there was a note warning me. At least i couldnt work....

Lovely cozy stay in a unique place.

Pros: Bread and butter was provided with cereal and porridge.

Pleasant stay with nice touches.

Pros: Appreciated the milk/cereal/coffee left for breakfast. The play kitchen for the kids was also a nice touch. The place was clean and had a nice modern shower room and kitchen. Very good communication from the owners.

Cons: We knew there was a working cow farm next door but hadn’t appreciated how strong the smell would be. Not the biggest fan of doors that we can’t open from our side and appear to go through to the adjoining property. The main bed was very squeaky - felt like it could fall apart every time you turned over!

Great first stay on cycle route 72

Pros: A great location for the first half day of route 72 cycling trip from Whitehaven (40 miles approx), a lovely quiet and private place to stay with decent cooking facilities. Could be a nice base for exploring the area too.

Perfect surprise visit for my partner’s birthday, we would highly recommend this property!

Pros: It was absolutely beautiful, quirky, and beautiful original features, with a modern twist, sat on the beautiful sofa situated in the bedroom drinking wine, looking out into the stunning gardens, it’s a 10 minute taxi ride into silloth, well worth it !

Cons: There wasn’t anything not to like !

Excellent peaceful retreat

Pros: Extremely clean, owners lovely, gorgeous fresh made bread, jams, milk and cereal all included. Felt so welcome. All towels (including face cloths if you use them) are provided as well as bedding. In kitchen tea towels, washing up liquid etc provided too.

Cons: Internet is patchy and can't do video calls. Only a dvd player, no tv. Neither were a big problem though.

Relaxing few days

Pros: Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Gorgeous garden.
