Staff were very friendly, premises were clean and comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast offered a good variety of cooked and uncooked dishes. Portions were very generous.

Cons: It would have been nicer to have better toiletries in the bathroom. I use Lidl liquid soap at home but it would be more of a treat to have a “posher” brand when on a break.

Perfect stop over

Pros: Very clean and clearly popular with the locals which is always a good sign! Room was clean with everything you'd need for a night's stop over.

Cons: Nothing really. Room was relatively small and wouldn't be great for a few days but for a night's break it was ideal.

Pros: Easy to find, decent sized room, very clean and fresh, good standard of food

Fab for Food

Pros: Delicious food. Prices good. Comfortable clean room which had everything I needed.

Cons: Socket for kettle meant that it had to be boiled on the floor. Staircase needing a lick of paint.

Pros: A lovely large room with the most comfy & cozy bed !! We had dinner in the restaurant which was superb. Breakfast was piping hot & the poached eggs perfect!! Would certainly recommend the Craignelder Hotel.
