The White House

Pros: Excellent self contained unit with everything you could need beautifully set in the tiny hamlet of High Hesket with the lake district at your disposal routes and boots for the walkers but also a charming rural retreat for the weary worker what a lovely place to come home to The White House is a real gem I will return as a tourist thank you Jill and Dave for having me, wonderful host's and thoroughly good people doing a great job ten out of ten from me

Cons: Nothing to say about that I couldn't think of one thing to complain about

Fine accomadation for breaking the drive from SW England to NE Scotland

Pros: Property is in a nice quiet location easily accessible from the M6. Great seating area with wall TV. Bedroom is a great size and really comfortable.

Cons: The En suite is a bit small - might be a bit tight for someone over 5ft 9.

Pros: Nice to have some sitting space, there were nice surprises in the fridge, large bedroom.

Cons: It was all good, but we would place a small dining table and chairs in the spacious bedroom as you have to make your own breakfast in your room. And a teapot would be nice.
