A welcoming and friendly guest house, with comfortable lodgings and a great breakfast.

Pros: Property is in a great location close to the centre and the lake, with great views of the mountains, and parking nearby. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very clean, as was the dining room. The breakfast was beautifully cooked with plenty of choice. The host Heather was really welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful spot for adventure

Pros: Beautiful location. The hills are just outside your window. Derwent Water and the water ferry to CatBells are just minutes away - as is the town. Brilliant hosts- friendly with lots of local knowledge. Great breakfasts. Keswick really does seem to be the bus capital of the Lake District. We journeyed by bus to climb Helvellyn, to Wordsworth country, to the stones and to Buttermere. The room was lovely with refills of milk, tea and biscuits. As walkers on some wet days it was great that our boots could be dried in the boiler room. Luggage storage in the first and last day was so incredibly helpful and meant we could adventure on both.
