Lovely 4 days and nights in this property. Highly recommend and will book again.

Pros: Location was excellent, House was lovely, though a tad dated in some areas. Facilities were excellent, only thing missing according to my wife was a washing up scourer and plastic gloves! The view of Catbells and Derwentwater from the upstairs bedrooms was beautiful.

Cons: Nothing. Directions to the car parking at the rear of the property could have been better.

Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean. Location was really perfect. The bed was comfortable.

Pros: We were upgraded to the Crow Park Hotel next door and were given an amazing room at the front of the hotel which fantastic views!

Pros: The Berkeley house was actually closed due to seasonal intake, but we were upgraded by property owners to the crow park Hotel, i was apprehensive at first due to not knowing this at time of booking as the website said property was temporarily closed, I assumed it would be open by time our stay came around. The room was clean and functional. Shower was amazing Breakfast and staff very good.

Cons: The property looked charming from the outside but the style and decor inside was a little dated for my choice of hotel to stay in.

We were upgraded to the crow park next door and it was beautiful

Pros: Lovely comfortable beds. Big clean room. Beautiful veiw of the mountains. Lovely breakfast. Perfect location to all the shops/pubs/restaurants.

Cons: The decor in the room was a little dated but was cosy.

Pros: Location to town centre was literally 3 minute walk, easy to find with ample parking at the back of the hotel. We booked for the Berkeley but due to the time of year we ended up in the Crow Park, couldn’t fault the place.

Cons: Nothing, couldn’t fault it at all.
