A perfect retreat!

Pros: We had the most wonderful Valentine's weekend stay here. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and special. Vanessa went above and beyond - baking a delicious cake for our arrival and even having a bottle of Prosecco chilling for us. Such a thoughtful touch that made the weekend feel extra special. We also took the recommendation to visit Buttermere Lakes, and they were absolutely fantastic - breathtaking views and a perfect spot for a romantic walk. Thank you, Vanessa, for your warmth and hospitality. We've made some beautiful memories here and would love to return!

Beautiful Romantix Geaway with great standards of household goods

Pros: Absolutely wonderful get away. The house is of a very high standard. The quality of the furnishings is fantastic. The host Vanessa was beyond perfect as a host. We went as an early get away for my 40th and she went to the effort of baking a cake and bringing a bottle of bubbly Wonderful place to stay. We have rebooked to go again in a few weeks Thanks again

Pros: To say it was fantastic is an absolute understatement. Perfect from start to finish! The extra care and details sets it apart and the host was utterly fantastic This is an absolutely perfect get away and every aspect of your trip will be incredible x

Pros: Host was extremely accommodating. Everything was ready for us so it was easy to get settled in. Was such a lovely getaway in a beautiful location. The accomodation was well maintained and immaculate. Would book again.

Ann's Hill feels like the home you see when you close your eyes.

Pros: Our second visit to this venue and once again we're already looking for when we can return. For ten years we've always taken October as a time to catch some late sun in the Canaries. Ann's Hill has changed that with its beautiful décor and location. The warmth of an open fire during the autumnal evening somehow hits differently and fills your heart. And those autumnal days offer a colour palette to treat your eyes.

Cons: The only thing that's not to like is having to leave.

A perfect place to stay, a real luxury.

Pros: The hot tub was a real treat after a day’s walking and views were amazing. The Lodge itself was spotless and very well equipped. Every little detail had been thought of with lots of luxurious touches. We could have stayed forever! Vanessa was an excellent host, responded to queries straight away but was very careful not to intrude. Just perfect!

Luxurious getaway to the northern lakes.

Pros: Fantastic getaway at Ann’s Hill with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Just a short drive from well serviced Cockermouth.

Pros: Cottage was amazing, loved it, hot tub was amazing, was so quiet and peaceful, had a brilliant time, Could not fault my stay, Would definitely recommend, I will be back, A lovely bottle of wine, in the fridge, lots of extras, On our arrival, Thank you so much, Absolutely stunning Cottage,

Pros: Ann was just the perfect host, greeting us with a bottle of prosecco and a homemade cake. The lodge was just absolutely beautiful, clean & had everything home from home. Not one to sleep very well away from home but the bed was so comfy we felt so relaxed.
