New Town Hall Bunkhouse

Beautiful area of the south of Scotland

Pros: A great place to explore and centrally located to travel around the region.

Great bunkhouse, would stay again!

Pros: Lovely bunkhouse in a great central location in Whithorn with plenty of parking available nearby. Modern, clean building with key fob entry so nice and secure. Good sized kitchen with a good stock of pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs etc. Several rooms available with different numbers of beds, and the en suite bathroom was great. There's a gym and more toilets in the building attached, which presumably you could also make use of. Lots of nice walks around the village, and lovely views from the windows. There was a bike rack and pump/tools at the front of the hostel, as well as table and chairs outdoors.

Cons: No fans in the rooms so it was quite hot in the heatwave, but the windows open wide which was useful. Would be good to have some hooks on the back of the bathroom door. There are some chairs in the kitchen, but not much in the way of social/relaxing space.

Pros: A fabulous place to stay. Comfy beds, Great communal space. Ensuite facilities. Local fish and chip shop is one of the best. EXCELLENT, Ill be back

Pros: Had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very helpful & answered any questions I had about the area and the property.

Amazing great place for bikers of which I am and the weather was a bonus....I would highly recommend

Pros: well there was no breakfast on offer however I made my own and I was more than happy with all the facilities.

Cons: Nothing it was absoluterly perfect and will be back....

Pros: Just what I needed in the right location. I would book downstairs for a future visit as toilets are in the individual rooms. Shower was great, bed very comfortable. I want a new mattress at home now, I slept so well! It's a super little hostel. Many thanks to C, L and L.

Cons: Could possibly be a bit tight for space if really full, but a nice pub just up the road and plenty of outside seating if weather OK. Otherwise it's great.

Loved it - would happily have paid more.

Pros: Fantastic accommodation - lovely and clean. Would happily pay more for this quality. Bed very comfortable - two nice pillows. Had a great sleep. Ensuite well appointed - great shower. Kitchen well stocked. Bike facilities great.

Great gem. Worth a visit

Pros: Very helpful, I was travelling with pushbike and didn’t turn up till out of hours. Key left got me in safety box. Lovely comfy bed and clean towels. I need no more. Looks like a good kitchen set up however I was literally there few hours sleep before back out on bike.

Pros: Excellent facilities, comfortable and well kept. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed and it has all the facilities you need. Whithorn is a nice little village in a beautiful area.

Cons: A little expensive for dorm accommodation.
