A thoroughly relaxing pre Christmas stay.

Pros: Food was excellent both the bar menu and the restaurant menu. View from the room was superb. Nice relaxing stay all round. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Cons: No complaints, we had a great stay.

A place to call your own when not at home.

Pros: The location was prime for our needs. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms adequate for our requirements.

Cons: Only criticism is the breakfast. A continental breakfast was provided where we would have enjoyed a full Scottish. The continental was sparse.

Enjoyable stay, pleasant staff, good location. Good meal in the restaurant and cosy bar.

Pros: Nice room with a view over the harbour. Good restaurant with good menu and good food.

Cons: Noisy until 12.10. Expected quiet after 11pm. The door to the bar was left open so noise travelled.

Lovely location, comfortable rooms.

Pros: Location was lovely, nice and welcoming when we arrived by the lady in the bar, she was lovely all evening as well. Very comfortable rooms, had a good nights sleep.

Cons: Breakfast wasn’t great, just continental but felt very lazy, had to ask for bread, couldn’t even get a piece of toast. None of the guests staying looked happy with it.. They focus on local produce in their menus, to offer a cooked breakfast would have been brilliant and then worth paying what we did for the stay.

Pros: Everything. Beer was excellent, the food would have to be ranked as one of the best meals I have ever eaten and the location was great.

Cons: Only stayed one night and not more.

Pros: Great location on the harbour. Welcoming staff & help with bike storage. A truly superb evening meal and a huge range of specialist beers on tap too.

Cons: Pity about the breakfast with so much great Scottish produce locally as demonstrated by the fantastic dinners, it was disappointing to be offered rice crispies, salami, croissants etc.

Stunning location.

Pros: Stunning location with a seafront view. Friendly & welcoming staff/owners.

Cons: Breakfast was continental and ok - we always prefer a full Scottish as a treat when away for a few days but we knew upfront that wasn't an option so no complaints. The idyllic location & view made up for that.

Had a lovely night stay here travelled around the surrounding area which is beautiful .

Pros: Just a lovely gem of a place . The staff are ALL so lovely . Nothing was a bother .The food was really good and any requests eg for smaller portions etc was no problem . Excellent views and comfortable rooms .Will definitely go back .
