Good stopover on return from Hebrides.

Pros: Breakfast was good, room spacious and comfortable, well situated with a pleasant view over the grounds

Cons: Dinner not available, had to travel to sister hotel. One staff member less than amenable, let down the others.

A lovely find driven passed many times and never thought staying here when travelling North.

Pros: We didn’t end up in the Dryfesdale we got transferred to its sister hotel. It was handy just off the motorway with lots of parking. Erin (manager) was a superstar, running reception and serving meals also very supportive with my food intolerances.

Cons: Creaky floorboards
