Great Stay

Pros: Great location for town, with parking too. Bed was very comfy, staff pleasent and breakfast was excellent

Pros: Great location ,short work into town centre. Breakfast ok 1st morning, excellent 2nd day!? Room clean, and tidy have to ask for towels and room to be serviced. No problem.

Pros: A very comfortable bed. The full english breakfast was excellent as was the smoked salmon on sourdough. location of the hotel was perfect for accessing the town centre, but still in a quiet area.

Great value. Great location. Right in the centre so you need to accept some disturbance if you want a centre location.

Pros: Location is excellent. Near to Market Square but with easy access to the Fells.

Cons: Location is on a busy street. Late night noise from passers by can be frustrating when sleeping. However this did not ruin my stay. Just a minor annoyance that is not within the hotels control.

A lovely hotel in a great location.

Pros: A lovely hotel in a great position and located just a short walk away from the main shopping street with various pubs and restaurants too, plus a comfortable walk to the lake. Private onsite parking was a bonus which meant we didn’t have to move the car during our two-night stay. Staff members all very friendly - from a walk welcome at check-in to the ladies serving the lovely hearty breakfasts too.

Cons: A lovely period property that has been nicely maintained however the bathroom and bedroom furniture a little tired - although the large bed was very comfortable and would stay here again.
