Sella Park Country House Hotel

Pros: Beautiful old manor house and gardens. Warm welcome at reception. Had phoned ahead to say it was our Anniversary and requested a bottle of wine for the room, which was waiting for us along with truffles. Very thoughtful. Our suite was lovely. Huge bed, massive fireplace, 3 windows, very quaint. Dinner was very tasty and the breakfast was fab too. This place is a hidden gem. Great costal and hill driving route down to Kendal, gorgeous scenery. Will be back to explore more of this area.

Felt like a touch of luxury

Pros: Facilities and setting are absolutely stunning and staff can not do enough for you. Although we did not have evening meals, the breakfast was outstanding

Pros: Nice building with ample parking, I stayed in one of the barn building rooms very comfortable felt newly fitted out nice selection of tea/biscuits, good shower. Good start to the day.

Pros: The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Unfortunately I fell ill at dinner and they were brilliant at helping me until I felt better. I cant praise them enough! One of the best stays we've had and we will definitely return Thank you all so much

Pros: Liked the accommodation clean, quiet and nice surroundings. The young man who served use meals was very helpful and a credit to the team. All staff were extremely helpful.

Nice hotel in the countryside

Pros: Looked lovely but arrived late and left early (Local Rat Race Competition) can’t say a lot as I never really experienced the hotel facilities tbh

A wet but lovely stay - we will definitely return if we are in the same area again!

Pros: Although near a nuclear power station, it didn't feel like it once in the hotel grounds. Staff were superb and couldn't make us and, in particular, our little dog more welcome. Room was comfortable and a generous size, our evening meal we had was superb and breakfast was lovely with our dog receiving a bonus sausage!
