Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Lismore. There wae a sea view from the window.

Pros: Lovely warm welcome, fabulous hosts . Superb room with small fridge which really suited me so I could store some bits for evening meal. Close to harbour, coastal path, Tesco and train station. I travelled by train - perfect location for that. Great breakfast food, breakfast room overlooking the harbour.

Pros: A perfect example of a B&B. The owner's attention to detail was perfect. Exceptional hospitality, immaculate room, and delicious, locally-sourced breakfasts. Quiet surroundings and attentive hosts, ensuring a memorable, home-like experience. The hosts are fantastic, and the full English was one of the best I have ever had. The rooms were stunning and so comfortable. The staff made us feel at home. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and friendly but extremely professional.

Cons: Not really the fault of the Lismore Guest House, it really minor personal opinion, the property on a very hilly street which might make it challenging for lesser able guest to get to. Would have been perfect if there was drop off space or option of reserved pay guest parking? But to be fair the owner never described on site parking availability.

We had a wonderful stay at Lismore guest house! We will definitely return when we are in Whitehaven.

Pros: The property had everything! Very clean, tidy and well presented. With a lovely welcome and a wonderful breakfast! The property was close to the town, the harbour and all local amenities.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Warm welcome in the town centre.

Pros: I had to arrive late, then my train was cancelled. Hosts couldn't be more helpful. Great location in the centre of town. Only had a flying visit, but the room was nicely done out and the breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Overnight stay as had relative in hospital, booked for 1 person instead of 2, this was not a problem and the issue was swiftly remedied. Lovely room and view could not fault anything. Breakfast was served in the conservatory will lovely sea views, food was well presented and tasty. Would recommend.
